The Provincial People's Committee has issued Plan No. 147/KH-UBND on promoting the attraction of enterprises to invest in the construction and business of technical infrastructure of industrial clusters in Quang Ngai province until 2030. 

Hundreds of contractors are actively involved in the construction of the Hoa Phat Dung Quat 2 Complex. They are synchronously deploying resources for construction and equipment installation. Chairman Tran Dinh Long and General Director Nguyen Viet Thang regularly monitor the project's progress on a weekly basis, ensuring timely completion. The first HRC hot-rolled steel coil line at Hoa Phat Dung Quat 2 is expected to be finished by the end of 2024.

On 29 June 2024, Doosan Vina signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Marubeni Group, Japan for “Cooperation of Offshore Wind Power in Vietnam” to promote new business activities of the two companies in the field of green and sustainable energy.
